In 2011, he moved to Cotonou to pursue his university studies. Sociable and passionate about community life and management, he trained in Human Resources and Social Relations, earning:

- a Professional Bachelor’s degree in 2013
- a Master’s degree in 2015
He entered the world of cinema in 2018 and quickly gained recognition as one of the most promising actors in Beninese cinema.
Career
Cathel ODO gained recognition by joining the Awa Cinema Project, where he appeared in several works by director Sprint Gboko.
